Connector identity?
I am have an R209 army receiver that has, I think, been changed so that the original headphone connector has been replaced by a three pin female panel connector that now serves for the 12 dc supply. Appears to fit the original holes exactly. I am not planning to restore the set to orginality, but would like either to find a male to suit or something that does not look out of place and uses the original holes. The original power connector now houses a conventional headphone jack.
Can anyone identify the three pin socket in the photo? I then need to find something to go in to it. Thanks, Tony |

Re: Connector identity?
I can't identify it but it looks very Bulgin-esque to me.
It might be worth seeing if you can track down a vintage Bulgin catalogue and see if it is there. |

Re: Connector identity?
Looks like No: 7, matches with No: 8

Re: Connector identity?
Maybe one of these in the pic below, looks identical to the ones Weller used on the older magastat soldering irons. I have brought those from CPC before.
Might be one of these, can't really see the scale of it? CPC Order Code: CN04059 |
