Good day all, is there any way of using an aerial on this radiogram, Philips F5G01A?
Many thanks Steve |

Re: Philips F5G01A
This gram is capable of receiving AM (long wave and medium wave) and FM stations. It will have a single pin socket to connect an AM aerial, this can be a length of single wire. Six feet long will probable pull in local stations but a much longer wire will be needed for the weaker ones.
The VHF/FM aerial socket will have 2 pins. You could use a ribbon type indoor FM aerial connected to these pins. If your gram is in good working order you are likely to have much better results on VHF/FM. The AM broadcast bands have very few stations on them now and are very susceptible to interference. |
