Default Re: CRT scan circuit oddity

Without looking at the LOPT itself, I can't tell if it's diode split or not. Certainly the circuit diagram shows it as a standard circuit, and bearing in mind it's only 15kV, I hope that it's amenable to a diode or two in the EHT lead to cure the fault!

However, thinking about it today, if the scan coils are not connected the EHT remains at the correct potential, so it must be something in the scan circuit. Or is there something I'm missing?
