GEC Selectest Super 50
I have had this donated, it is in full working order but the cutout is faulty.
As you can see it does not hold in. It has never been opened as the wax seal is still in position. I have no information whatsoever and would appreciate any advice. |

Got a couple of these, not bad meters, bounce better than the bakelite Avos anyway.
Going to have to have a look inside, usually something drying up and getting sticky after many years. |

We had an earlier one of these in our workshop in the '50s, a beautifully made meter, much better than the Avo of the time. That one looks quite modern compared to ours.

Good meters, I have several myself. Take a peek inside and physically examine the cutout, the problem may be obvious.
