Converting a 200 series telephone - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

A friend has asked me if I would convert his 200 series phone so that it can be used. It has a plastic covered 3 core lead (red, green, white).
Can it be used (as an extension) without a bell set? And what connections and/or mods should I make?
