Loctite putty for small repairs
Hi. I have had two Bush DAC90A radios, where the cabinet has been damaged in small area under the dial glass (no the glass was not damaged). I have found that the Two-part putty that comes in a tub, and manufactured by Loctite, comes in very handy for small jobs like this. Afterwards, I used Revell gloss paint black and brown, mixed a small amount to cover the filled surface (will let you know the paint numbers that Revell use later).
I can not understand what folks do to damage the DAC90A cabinets in the space under the dial glass (must be carelessness). Cheers Mike |
