I once worked for a company which wanted to increase productivity and quality and make things cheaper at the same time. Difficult you might say, and the management didn't have any real idea how to do it either. The result was we went through a phase of management by buzzword. We were all actors on the corporate landscape faced with scenarios which required us to raise the bar etc. It drove me mad.

Total seven.
I realise that many people are unable to perceive the violet and / or the indigo but that does not mean that those colours are not there.

Well, a rainbow has a continuous spectrum so it has many colours as we have names for!

Dashboards & driver controls of modern (and not so modern) cars which are emblazoned with strange symbols, some of which are far from obvious. Yes, I know the reasons why this is done, but it is not only annoying but somewhat dangerous when driving the car and discovering that you suddenly need to operate an infrequently used control and then having to use guesswork as to which button, lever etc. does what. Your attention to the road is thus diverted.
