Help to ID Mullard LP Module
I thought I might have an unused Mullard LP1165 module to help out Cathy_Vintage. However, on closer inspection it does not tie up with the information on the web. The number of trimmer holes seems more like the LP1171 but the pins underneath do not seem to match exactly. Also the barely visible markings look more like LP1165 than 1171. So, can anybody ID this module with more confidence? Two photos are attached.
Many thanks. Mike |

Re: Help to ID Mullard LP Module
The hole layout is similar to the LP1164/1 module used in the Roberts R707.

Re: Help to ID Mullard LP Module
Thank you both for your comments. I was looking at the information provided by Electrojumble and maybe misreading which picture was attributed to which module. I did not think to check here first - D'oh. Anyway, looks like I have an LP1165 then. I will see if Kathy wants it.

I blew it up just to make sure and the top clearly loops round much further than it would for a six and, in fact, meets up with the just discernible shadow of the lower part of the eight. Of course, this begs the question: was there an LP 1185 module? To which the answer is: yes, there was - but it was FM only and had far fewer holes in the casing! www.electrojumble.org/DATA/Mullard_LP1180-1402.pdf I give up! |
