Default AMF Venner frequency counter.

Hello all. The model is a 1000F Mk 2. I am not at all sure how old this is but it uses Nixie tubes for the display. Have tried Google and various places and drawn a complete blank, does anyone have any info please?
When I was into building Nixie clocks I was going to break it for the tubes but since finding this great forum it now seems to be a shame to do this so might as well try to use it.(If I can find out how to work it!)
Thank you.
Cheers.
Geoff.

Default Re: AMF Venner frequency counter.

Hello Geoff,
I can recall coming across in the past Venner Timer Counters that were 'badge engineered' versions of Marconi Instruments counters. I Can't remember the exact Model No but suspect it would have TF 14??

These were 70's vintage and were the last to use Nixie tubes before going over to LEDs

There are several MI experts on the forum and they may be able to help with the exact Model No

Regards
Mike
