Default Mid range laptop.

Looking for a mid range laptop with a I5 or I7 processor, ssd or hard disc, min 14 inch screen, and min 8meg of ram WIFI ready, and not too old. Reasonable price. Please PM me with what you have. Will be used for CAD. Cheers Electronwilly.

I'd suggest looking for a refurbished Dell Precision. I picked up an M4600 (2nd gen I7, 8GB RAM, 15" full HD display) for around 250 a couple of years ago so prices should be lower now. While mine came with a standard HDD they will accept an msata SSD and up to 2 2.5" HDD's simultaneously (although you lose the DVD drive if you want to use the second 2.5" slot). When they were new they were recommended by Autodesk for their Inventor software and I've use one for various PCB software.
