Hi Al, Sorry for not introducing you to the new folk, I did try to let everyone know who everybody was, there is always too much going on for me to keep tabs on what's happening. I suppose name badges with name and user names might be an idea. Best regards, Norman.

One group of photos from today's get-together chez Norman

Number 4: Some future industrial archaeologist will decide that a company called 'Mallard' made a combined one-armed-bandit and waffle-maker. He will then display it in a museum next to a Goblin Teasmade.

Many thanks to Norman and his family and all the guys for such a warm welcome.
It was really nice to put a face to a number of Forum members that I've communicated with in the past and/or held in high esteem for their technical expertise.
Also many thanks to Andy for taking me down. My cross-country navigation wasn't that good, but I'm sure that Andy was impressed with the view from Cairn-a -Mount. Despite his careful driving, several Sunday drivers decided to exercise our sphincter muscles. And, the major roadworks in Dundee tested his satnav severely.
Lets hope that the weather is as good for the next get-together, I'm really looking forward to it.

Regards, David

Thumbs up Re: Scottish Meet 2012

Just wanted to say thank you to Norman and his family for such a grand day out
The weather smiled on us and some fine wireless chat took place along with some bring and buy transactions. Lovely to meet faces old and new.
Smashing do
Paul.
