Question EMI Microphone

Hi
Can anyone help me please
I have a EMI Ribbon Microphone, in Original wooden box with webbing strap handle. The mic inside is in mint condition and was used in Abbey road London. I got it from my father in law.
I dont know how much it is worth as i cannot find any info on this mic at all.
I did notice that there was an auction on 6th March at Harpendon where on the British Vintage Wireless site an EMI mic was listed which sounds abit like the one i have.
Is there anyone here that can help me get info about this mic i have, i have pictures i can email you.
Thankyou
Debbie

Default Re: EMI Microphone

Hi Debbie, I can't help with this but you may get more info if you ask on the uk.tech.broadcast newsgroup. That group is read by many pro sound engineers both current and retired. You should quote any model number that you can find on the mike or its box.

Best regards, Paul
