Default Vintage Exide Bijou date range?

Hi folks, can anyone tell me the date range this particular 3v battery was produced over? We have found one on a dig, and although we think it has come from surface down a shaft it would still be nice to know what era it is from.
If I had to guess, I would say 1950's or around then? But could it be as early as 1930's?

Thanks

Is that the Exide equiv. of the Ever Ready No.8?

That's the one. The livery will be more of a guide to the age of the battery than its type - is it the same as this one?

The battery in that photo has Clifton Junction written on it, link to a photo of the Exide factory at Clifton Junction Manchester.

I expect this battery does date from the 1930s, as its design isn't radically different - though it adds "by Exide" - from the one pictured here, in a December 1931 advert according to Grace's Guide -

https://www.gracesguide.co.uk/File:Im19311211Cy-Dry.jpg

The same site seems to indicate that Clifton Junction ceased to be the primary address for Exide batteries between 1939 and 1941.

The price of the Bijou in my photograph, by the way, is given as 4 1/4d. (fourpence farthing).

I'd like a scan of that label.
My re-creations have so far been variations of Ever Ready.

A very popular torch battery in the '50s
