Metamec orange wall clock
240v 50hz Synchronous motor...motor turns sporadically when powered..can't see any way to disassemble it so any advice....another victim of the "3rd Great Purge"!

Hi Longshot, how about some photos of the rear.
Wonder if the chrome Bezel on the front, turns slightly to release. If so maybe some fixing tags are visible where its rear edge meets the Orange case. Regards - Mike |

I unscrewed the circular white cover and was able to prod the exposed cogwheel into action but it wouldn't keep going..the motor unit seems to be riveted together

Thanks....very ingenious repairs....I've put it on Ebay as a spares or repair, so maybe it'll go to a good home, it'a beautiful period clock
