Default A.P.T. TCU 250 - Power Supply 0-50V 2A

Hello group,

I'm searching for some information
(description, schematic, manual)
about an APT TCU_250 - Power Supply 0-50V 2A

Maybe someone can help.

Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter,

I acquired one of these a year ago. It is working but had been slightly 'modified', had a non-original meter fitted and no manual.

However, I have several photographs of the internal layout, wiring and PCBs with my annotations and a reverse-engineered schematic. Too much to attach here but I can send them via a PM if they will prove of use to you.

Hi Peter.
Name here is Tony. I also have the same TCU250 as you, mine is working but noisy, (transformer hum) and a little switch erratic. Did you find a circuit diagram or handbook.
I wonder what you problem is?. Maybe we can help each other.

Tony.

Hi Tony,
which version do you have ?

There are possible 3 versions of this type.

Main difference one or two PCB's

Hello Peter.

My appologies, I've been away. I will open my unit and check the type.

My first time on here, and if possible will send photo's. Will contact soon.

Tony.

Hi again Peter.

The unit has one main board, and is vertical behind the front control/display panel.
Sometime since I've looked inside, a vertual nest of wires with all the discrete components, I wonder if it is the same as yours?

Tony.

Tony,

it seems that these two beasts are the same version "Issue 1"
