Default BT8746G Succesfully cleaned and working!

Bought a lovely Red one, it had more crackles (and intermittentcies) than a breakfast cereal that had just been served up.

Cleaned the whole thing, case, dial front, dial contacts and micro switch, all works fine both ways now- a very happy Bunny!
A very rewarding hours work, and it now takes pride of place in my workshop.
