Marconphone T69DA chassis removal
I have removed the back of the T69DA and the front knobs. There are two screws inside at the top corners and after these have been removed it looks as though the chassis should slide out. This one is a bit reluctant to move, is there anything else that might stop it?

Re: Marconphone T69DA chassis removal
Is the chassis not held in place with two screws attaching it to the inside front of the cabinet?

Re: Marconphone T69DA chassis removal
IIRC the T69DA is a maroon coloured set with that pesky printed circuit board. There should be 2 screws attaching the chassis to the front of the cabinet. These are accessed from inside the set. Think they are located on each side of the tuning scale above the 2 pulleys on each end that hold the tuning drive cord. Once these are removed, the chassis should come out in one piece.

Re: Marconphone T69DA chassis removal
Just seen your posts. Sorry I thought I had closed this one. I did find two more screws and removed the chassis very easily. I am now replacing the original Plessey electrolytics (dated 1959).
