Default Hacker RP37A;T309 tuner alignment.

Could someone till me where I can find the data for the later RP37A tuner alignment procedure.
All the data I have is for the early type tuner!

Hi Si,

I've got the "Addendum to Service Manual For VHF Herald RP37 Receiver To Cover RP37A"

But all it's got is the circuit diagram of the T309 and a diagram showing how the modules are wired together in the set (dated July and September 1970).

There are no alignment instructions, but it does say "The specificaton and test procedures are the same as for the RP37 model"

Nick.

Thanks Nick.
Looking at the Sovereign 2 manual it mentions the same thing.
I think I have worked it out though.
L1 is the oscillator core and CT3 is the HF padder.
I then set the other two cores to peak output at 89MHz and the two remaining trimmers at 101 MHz.
Huge improvement in sensitivity has resulted so must be about right.
If anyone else knows the procedure for sure, please correct me on this.
