BVWS Membership Renewals - Reminder - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

Hello everyone,

Firstly a Happy New Year to you all. I know it's nearly the end of January, but I think this is my first general post of 2009 to the Forum.

Can I take this opportunity to remind all BVWS members who have not yet renewed their membership for 2009, that you will need your card at the first Harpenden of the year, which this time will be on the 22nd of February, as opposed to the usual early March date.

The BVWS Bulletin is also about to go off to the printers and will be arriving with everyone by mid February (a month earlier than previous years), which will have your membership card with it.

This means it is important that you get your renewal in as quickly as possible now to avoid not getting both your membership card or the first Bulletin of the year!

Graham is standing by - ready to process your renewal.

Also if there are any readers that have thought of joining, but not yet done so, then this is a really good time to do so. After all, you cannot buy much nowadays for £25 and four thick full colour Bulletins and the yearly DVD is jolly good value!

woops i will get it sorted , one year i renewed over the phone with my debit card can this still be done ? if yes have you a phone no . thanks Danny

Oops, thanks for the reminder. Mine is now in the post (even though committee members get complimentary membership we still need to return the form each year).

I last renewed my membership in 2002, but I will rejoin this year.
Reading this forum for the past few months has been a great incentive to rejoin, plus having retired now I have more time for radio.

Im very late renewing my membership too. will it be ok to rejoin at the nvcf next month. thanks again neil.

Hi Neal,

Yes you can rejoin at the NVCF, but you would be better to do so before then by phone and credit card. Call Graham Terry (Membership Sec.). The number is in the Bulletin.

If you join before hand you will be able to take advantage of the BVWS member Restaurant discount voucher at the cash office, but otherwise you will miss out as you won't have your card to show the cashiers.
