Default HMV 1629 mid 50s radiogram needing love in South London

Apologies for the title sounding like a lonely hearts ad.

I have an HMV 1629 radiogram that I've done some fixing up on, but I've hit a barrier in my knowledge.
The radio (FM/LW and MW) turns on, and the volume and tone knobs work, but FM seems to only pick up one station no matter where the tuner sits. I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't play such awful music.
The record player is a 4 speed Garrard that runs just fine, but the right speaker isn't outputting any audio (it's doesn't for the radio either) rendering most of my records instrumental as the vocal channel seems to be predominantly fed to the right.
The cabinet itself is large and heavy, so ideally I'd love someone local to come and take a look at it. I have the schematics and can send photos on the inner workings.
The speaker is an ELAC TW4/01
I am based in South London (/Surrey Border)

Thanks

This is a mono radiogram so you will get the same sound from all loudpeakers.

I could work on it, I'm in Wembley NW London, but my services do not come cheap.

Please send me a PM if you'd like me to service it for you.
