If you are unsure of an abbreviation Google it. I just did and came up with 48 possibilities for FOC, from Fibre Optic Cable to Ferrari Owners Club. So not as rude as it seems. Personally I don't use FOC often, I'm too tight

The problem with simple is it's too obvious to see, typical engineers dilemma 'no way can that work, it's too simple'.

Acronyms are sadly too pervasive nowadays. There's even a three letter acronym for a Three Letter Acronym!
