I have missed a couple of replies to threads I started.
Usually I check the threads regularly but once they have gone quiet I sometimes forget to check back. I have been relying on the "New Posts" search to find any late posts but have discovered that this search does not show any replies to a thread I have initiated. Is this normal behaviour? Peter |

It's the same for me, I've always assumed it's the way the forum works, but I do get an email notification every time there is a reply to a thread I've posted in, in the 'additional options' box just tick the 'instant email notification'.

Thanks John, I'll try the e-mail option.

I assume by ' "New Posts" search ' you mean clicking on the "New Posts" button?
This should return all threads in which there are posts which you haven't read. However if you were the LAST member to post in a thread, then that thread won't be listed.

For example your reply quoted above did not show when I pressed the "new posts" button. Peter Last edited by Electronpusher0; 14th Aug 2019 at 4:26 pm. Reason: clarification |

As John says, if you select instant notification you'll get an email if anyone (except you) posts in a thread that you have posted in.
