Best Aurora to buy
Hi, have just come off the Aurora site: http://www.tech-retro.com/Aurora_Design/Video_Home.html and was just wondering

Yes the scrf405A is the usual one unless you have a number of exotic sets from around the world in which case you will need the multistandard version.
Since I had my scrf405A standard version I have been able to restore my three (so far) vintage sets.

I have three of the v2.2 SCRF405A units! They are excellent. This means I can watch BBC-1, ITV or a feed from the AV setup (satellite, various video formats, online services such as iPlayer and YouTube) using the set's channel selector. The proper authentic experience except all are on Band III as my distribution setup won't pass Band I signals. No mutual interference.
