Currys used the Westminster brand for a long time, until they used Matsui and Triumph instead.

A slight misunderstanding, I was suggesting you might 'borrow' a picture of one that is for sale or if you knew of a particular model that I might posses then I could take some pictures for you. There are many on the forum and I doubt if anyone on here would mind you 'borrowing' one.

Anyway, there are four in the attached picture, let me know which one you want pictures of and I will bring it down from the loft.

Thank you re the picture, any tidy 1950,s radio Rentals model would be fine.I will try and get you a "credit" if at all possible should it go into the book.

Keep me posted and when convenient I can send you my email so you can attach pics to.

Regards,

David

Three of them have octal valves so I am assuming 40's

The little one behind the Murphy is model 216. It is in the March 1957 catalogue as available for rental only, starting at 10/9d per month. It uses the UL, UY series valves and looks to be 100% original so I have not powered it up.

I'll take some pictures later today.

OK, I decided to take them again as the ones I did last night had too much background stuff.

I also have quarter views, rear and inside if you would like them.
