Default FDM repeaters

Hi all,

I've always been fascinated by the old co-ax based carrier trunk circuits, but can't find any decent info on them. I'd be particularly interested in details of repeater amplifiers, together with modulator, filter and demodulator circuits.

Schematics especially welcome.
