French Socotel S63 PTT
Can anyone help me convert my French phone. I've been on British Telephones but there no photo's or diagrams to help a complete novice like me.

Is there a diagram somewhere inside? If so please post it here.

Re: French Socotel S63 PTT
From http://www.britishtelephones.com/pstconv1.htm
Socotel S63 (French PTT) The terminal strips number from right to left. The top terminals are even numbers and the terminals nearest the edge of the circuit board are odd numbers. 1. Remove the metal link T11 / T17 2. Connect a 3.3k resistor to T11 and T17. 3. Red of line cord to T11. 4. White of line cord to T13. 5. Blue of line cord to T15. 6. Insulate the green wire of the line cord. 7. Try the configuration above and if the bells do not work correctly then cut one of the leads of the 760 ohm resistor. As the resistor forms part of the anti spark quench circuit then it should really be left in situ.

Re: French Socotel S63 PTT
Hi there, thanks for your reply. I've taken the cover off and have numbers 1-8 and 10. The hand set is connected to 1-4.
