Bellset no 20
Hi
Can anyone kindly tell me what would have been connected to terminal E in Bellset no. 20. The others ( As & Bs ) are obvious Thanks Trev |

Re: Bellset no 20
Hello again Trev, Which Mark No is your bellset? Mks 1,2,3 were essentially the same but the Mk4 is a different circuit. I have the diagrams, but cannot get them down to the forum limit on images. If you would like an email copy PM me. Basically the E term is "connected according to the appropriate Plan No installation" These sets originated in september 1925.
Regards Dave.

Re: Bellset no 20
Hi,
I suspect that terminal E would have only been used on a shared service (party line) installation, although I can find no reference to Bellset 20 being used on shared service working. The explanatory of Bellset 20 can be found on this link http://www.samhallas.co.uk/repositor.../0000/N520.pdf Regards Andrew |
