Default Siemens W28 Telephone.

I think I have one of these ,Its a nice little phone ,I know there seam to be many variations on the theme of this model ,and i wondered if I had the correct handset as it looks a bit like from a later one ?
At the moment the dial doesnt work ,apparently it was opend to clean and the spring/s were dislodged ,so that it was put back together. Hopefully I can sort this out .
Does anyone know about these dials please
Does anyone have any info on the history of these phones
Can anyone help as to how it has to be wired to a socket
Thanks
