Re: Apollo Guidance Computer
HI,
Just seen this thread, if any one is interested, the Computer Sheds have some parts a block 1 Apollo guidance computer, a Rope Memory Jumper module and a A26/A27 processor module. Incredibly rare, the jumper is an empty box, used when the memory was not installed. The other is a clock divider. They came from Derby last year. Hun |

Re: Apollo Guidance Computer
Yes that is a great series well worth watching!
Would love to visit the computer sheds as they have some other rare items but, contacts seem to have dried up with them. |

Re: Apollo Guidance Computer
re - post 22, a very interesting series of videos from start to finish.
The cherry on the cake for me was one of the videos in the series where the guys involved in the restoration got to meet Eldon Hall who actually lead the original hardware design team and a handful of the software writers (some of whom are popular speakers on the circuit, still).

Re: Apollo Guidance Computer
I'm working my way through in spare moments and have reached part 21 so far. It's been fascinating so far to watch these guys working through bit by bit (literally).
