Default Revox B77 Mk1 skeleton pots.

Hello,

I am trying to repair a Revox B77 Mk1 and am having difficulty in finding replacement 0.5w skeleton pots in the following values; 20k, 470k, 2.5k and 10k. These are vertical pots and seem to drop to bits as soon as you touch them.

Used ones from old television or radio boards will suffice. Miniature ones won't do. Please have a look through your old drawers to see what you can find.

Thank you in advance,
Jim

I see no reason why they can't be replaced with enclosed types that line up with the PCB holes.

Hi refugee, basically because there isn't room for them. I did think of taking the metal frame from around the carbon track and using that. I will wait to see if anyone can come up with a better idea or the real thing.

The 0.5W ones are virtually unobtainable in any form. Some might be available through overseas sellers on Ebay.

22K

10K

2.2K

He doesn't seem to have any 470K ones

Hi,

I managed to get some Piher presets from Cricklewood Electronics, but I don't know if these would be the correct size?

I found that the pin spacing was slightly different to the original ones used in another application (Devtronix Oscillator Boards) but they were the nearest I could get.

Regards,
Peter B

Jim,

Could you post a pic of what you want, I have lots of stuff in my workshop but don't know what half of it is.

Thank you everyone for your replies but I obtained all the values I wanted from the company that Mike recommended.

Thank you once again.
