Hi Mick

Sorry for the delay brain switched off watching the box!

One of those days!

The coil is still of the chassis so I can take any further pic you need.

Enjoy

Update on the cossor

We now have Long Wave Phew!
This radio was built from a kit back in the 30s for some reason they made it M/W only, thanks to Mike colbaltblue I could see the L/W coils were there but no switches, these needed to short three contacts in one direction and be o/c in the other direction.

I found two switches that would do the job they were two gang two way ,eventually having sorted the connections I had L/W and M/W .

Next came how to link the switches again thanks to Mikes photos I was able to fabricate the mechanism we now have Long wave .

Hi Mick

You have made a fantastic job of that

Now I have the coils off the chassis I don't want to put them back on till I replace that flaking rubber!

The ends of the wires are terminated in brass eyelets I have just ordered some 4mm eyes and washers now I just need to beg borrow or steal a suitable tool

Never mind I was hoping that the veneer would be here for the Sky Monarch but no such luck

Enjoy
