Default Tuning Capacitors, Trimmers, Drives, etc.

Perhaps some forum members are unaware that a wide range of Jackson Brothers tuning capacitors, etc., are still in current production, and can be obtained from Mainline Electronics, 192 Little Glen Road, Glen Parva LE2 9TT
(+44)0116 278 0980 Furter details can be found on their website, which I found by entering 'Jackson Brothers' into Yahoo Search.
Mainline are the actual manufacturers of these items, some of which are fairly expensive (e.g. a 2 x 365pf Type 'O' Tuning Capacitor-the good old fashioned all metal airspaced type -costs nearly £21 inc. VAT & Carriage, but at least it's good to know they're still available if needed.
(Usual disclaimer applies here!)

It's very good to see Mainline up and running again.

Must save up my pocket money.

I haven't seen much of this around new since I were a lad! Good to know that it is still available if required.

The slow-motion drive with the rectangular scale is the same as the one I used on my first home-built TRF shortwave set back in 1968.

I have a Jackson Brothers catalogue dating from the late 80s or early 90s. Plenty of data and drawings of their range of capacitors but I don't know how it compares to the range from Mainline.
