Various oscilloscopes for sale: Can take to Golborne

Good morning,
I am having a bit of a sort out in the workshop to make working a bit easier and I have decided to reduce my oscilloscope collection!! I can take all to Golborne on 7 April, or can be collected here in Belper.

Telequipment D61a works ok both channels with a good sharp trace £8

Trio MS-1660 Digital memoryscope works well with a little bit of switch cleaner needed for the V/DIV switches on both channels. A nice tidy oscilloscope £15

National VP-5512A? 100 MHz I think. Works well on both channels with a little bit of switch cleaner needed for the V/DIV switches on both channels. £10

Iwatsu SS-5802 storadgescope, 2 channel plus a third basic channel. Never fully worked out how it worked!! Seems to work well. A bit of switch cleaner rerquired. £10

Tektronix 547 valve oscilloscope. Complete other than an odd valve pinched for my 545A oscilloscope and a broken knob! £FOC as I acquired it free originally.

Tektronix 545B valve oscilloscope, Complete bar the 2 handles which were originally missing and a couple of B9a valves to restore my 545A oscilloscope. £FOC as I acquired it free originally.

The Trio is a strange beast - it came from my late Uncle originally. Quite handy as a low frequency storage scope as well as a general purpose one. Very good value! Good luck with whoever ends up with it.

Looks like Reelman will have the National for Golborne and Andy will provisionally take the Tektronix oscilloscopes if transport can be arranged.

I don’t have the packing materials here to be able to courier the Trio oscilloscope and it is quite a big beast. I wouldn’t like to send it and end up with a disappointment if the CRT deflection plates get distorted or the front controls damaged. Unless it could go by FCS from say Golborne.

I am afraid it is collection, Golborne (or possibly RWB later this year) or FCS only as I haven't got any suitable packing materials to ensure that the oscilloscope could get through the post safely undamaged and to be disappointed with a broken or damaged CRT.

What model is your Philips audio generator?

National appears to be a Japanese brand.

The little Philips signal generator is a PM5100 and is a really neat and simple 4 valve based audio frequency generator. Sine output only it works very well.

Thanks for the details Christopher. There are full pictures and the schematic on Radiomuseum, so I was surprised to find it is a 4-valve design.
The National VP-5512A must come from the engineering giant that also makes semicons and Panasonic consumer equipment.
