Default BBC 1 Look East Today. Pye Cambridge.

A short clip today on Look East featuring an article about Pye mentioning the EF50 valve "the valve that won the war" amongst the audience was a couple of familiar faces well known in BVWS circles...
It is only a very short article tacked on the end of the local news should be available on the BBC iplayer..

The BBC were broadcasting from it on the local Look East news yesterday evening plus repeated it on the late news.
And can watch this here :

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod...-late-03022023

But that will expire at 10:45pm tonight (Although if you have get_iplayer etc, you can download this and use VLC etc to record this feature to an .MP4)

They didn't seem to mention how long this Pye 'Broadcasting' / 1896-1996 exhibition - organised by Bob Bates Pye History Trustee and with many items from Pye Collector Mike Kemp ? (Both featured in this) will run for, at the Cambridge Technology Museum (But will probably be detailed on a website for it?)

I was going to put something about this in our 'Museums' section....

The Pye Museum is a permanent display at Cambridge Museum of Technology.

'Radio Enters the Home' is an exhibition that runs until 24th September 2023.
