Yaesu FT-7 Power supply/connector information needed!
Good evening everyone,
I am wondering whether anyone would be able to help. I have just acquired a Yaesu Munsen FT-7 Transceiver, in perfect condition. However, while I do have the service manual, there is no indication as to the requirements for the power socket. The socket has 6 pins - 5 horizontally orientated and one vertically - I know the voltage should be something like 13.8v. The FP-7 power supply only has a positive and negative terminal - would anyone know the correct way to connect a home built cable and plug, or would anyone possibly have such a power connector for sale? Many thanks for your help and time, Kind regards, Dave Mead. |

Here's the wiring diagram of the 6-pin connector. It shouldn't be too hard to get one.
The fox-tango site has lots of Yaesu information to download. The FT-7 is on this page: http://www.foxtango.org/ft-library/F...0s/60s-70s.htm Regards - Peter |

Might be wrong but this sounds like Din plug is needed.

Should take too much to work out connections with the manual
