Default Aerial plug help.

Hi,

Just joined the forum and looking to see if anyone cam guide me in the right direction.

I've just bought a Benkson PTV7 portable UHF set. The only connection for an external aerial is small port marked EXT ANT.

Just wondering if there's any adapters available to standard UK aerial connectors? Tried searching online but can't seem to find anything.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

It's most likely a 3.5mm socket, so something like this will probably work.

Welcome!

These used to be obtainable, but a search of my usual sources (CPC & Maplin) can't find a result now. Sometimes the search terms I'm thinking of don't make a match with what the seller calls them.

Searching for 'Belling Lee and Mini Jack' I found this...

Changing my search to 'Coax Socket', I eventually found this on Maplin's website.

No connection with the vendors.

Regards,

SR

I presume you realise there's no analogue signal anymore and you'll need to use a set top box with modulator, or similar, to get a picture?

I can't believe they're asking £2.99 for that!
