Default Pye 1101 Cambridge radio

Any out there have any experience of improving/restoring this radio-any tips gratefully received.

1. It’s a live chassis radio so take suitable precautions when working on the radio and don’t bypass any safety features when put into service.
2. Apart from the front end having many short wave bands it’s a very standard 4 valve plus rectifier circuit which were very common designs.
3. Standard servicing techniques should fix any faults unless there is a part that’s not available, unlikely but possible.
4. Be careful removing they valves, some have a glass locating pip that can break, if there are metal retaining springs around the valve base it’s best to remove them before removing the valve.
