Default What does this Philips UK orange lozenge shaped sticker mean?

This sticker is found on Philips UK made CTV panels fitted with the G11 chassis - and possibly on late G8 panels as well.

I've also found it on a factory packed G11 label.

Does anyone know what it indicates?

It's an original factory panel, not a recon replacement. I think the sticker just means it's passed the original factory testing. I seem to recall when the panels were reconditioned, the orange sticker was removed. Of course if a factory original panel was repaired in the field I doubt the sticker was removed so it doesn't mean that no repairs have been done. It just means that it's not a service exchange (recon) panel.

That makes sense and mystery solved - thanks!

. . .I can confirm these stickers were used on Philips G9 panels and also Pye Solid–State Chassis PCBs supplied by Philips as well!

. . .They started to be used from the G8 550 Series with the rear–chassis mounted Convergence Panel!
