Default Are Membership Cards required for Harpenden?

Hi all, I may be able to ride down to Harpenden on the 30th, but I appear to have misplaced my BVWS membership card. I seem to remember reading one needed to get in, or can I get by with telling them my name and assuring the person on the door that I am a BVWS Member (guess what - I can't remember my Membership Number either! ).

This is not an official response but AFAIK the door staff have a membership list and check that you are on it. A membership card makes life easier but all you really need to do is say who are and perhaps show some other ID.

Look forward to seeing you again.

As Jeffrey says, you shouldn't have any problems. They should have a membership list at the door so just take some form of ID such as your driving licence photocard.
