BSR turntable.
Hi, looking for info regarding replacement turntable for the Pye 1005 unit as the turntable I have is goosed ie not working.

The BSR turntable was made especially for your Pye "Achoic" and was unique to that record player. It really should not be changed out for another. It is a specially modified version of the BSR UA15 autochanger and these can usually be fixed to play perfectly.
What's wrong with it?

There were also some versions with a modified Garrard autochanger as well.
But these decks were built very well and there is no reason why they cannot be stripped, cleaned and re-lubricated to get them working as they should be. |
