Attempting to identify obscure TRS connector
A have a (sort of) mystery here. When attempting to shove a standard quarter inch TRS plug into this jack, I am scuppered. The ring at the end has a smaller hole in it preventing complete insertion of the plug.
I almost certain I have seen TRS connectors with a thinner tip in telephone exchanges, perhaps this is what plugs into this connector, but what are they called? In my frantic searching I came across the Bantam jack which looks the part, but it is much too small. Thanks! |
