Default BARKROLE cabinet information.

I have an old wood cabinet from the John Barker & Co Ltd furniture company and am seeking information on both the piece itself as well as the company. The label inside reads:

John Barker & Co Ltd
BARKROLE
Registered No 482386

My dear neighbor gave the cabinet/end table to me when he noticed me refinishing a pre-1900 cabinet outside my home. He is retired US Air Force and brought this piece home with him when he moved from London back home to the US.

The piece is in great condition and I am very curious about it, especially since he couldn't tell me anything other than he bought it in London!

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks!
Amber

Cabinet? Is it a radio, TV, radiogram or what?

A picture will tell us a lot.

This gives the complete story of the Barkers company. During their time in business they seem to have sold almost everything.
