Default ILP HY50 & ILP HY5 amp modules

Today I bought a home made disco unit from the boot fair.

It has turned out to be a poor buy, very badly put together with some soldering which looks like it was done using lighted matches.

But It has some interesting amp modules in it.
Marked ILP HY50 which is a 25 watt power amp, and a ILP HY5 which is a preamp mixer tone control module.

I have found some technical information on the HY5 on a previous thread posted by ukcol

I can find some adverts for the power amp module HY50

But I cant find any information on the wiring of the HY50
I am assuming that the connections are fairly straight forward.
orange, supply +25v
black, supply -25v
green, supply ground, input ground, speaker ground
blue, speaker
white, input

Has anyone got the installation manual for the HY50 or can they confirm the pin connections above.

Thanks
Mike

Not sure it'll help, but there's an ILP HY50 amp listed on the auction site at the moment, with a description that reads as though the seller built it - could be worth asking if they have a copy of the datasheet ?

Don't whether it will help or not but here is the application note for the later HY60 module and one of ILP's other products.

Bit of a marathon download at the end of my sister's damp string in darkest Herefordshire

The HY50 info is clear enough though, it's a circuit diagram.

1 +25V
2 LS out
3 Input
4 Ground
5 -25V

After a bit of fiddling around with text recognition and google translate I have made a PDF in English of the article in the Italian Magazine.
Just in case anyone else wants some information on these amps.

I have got a couple of those.
They have been fitted in a cheap Dixons own brand amplifier that previously had the output pair on a little board and the remainder of the amplifier on another board.
It had obviously oscillated and cooked.
The power rails in this box are a tad low and there is a little bit of cross over distortion but still it is all right for computer speakers.

ILP electronics ltd was dissolved in Nov 2018, it would be interesting to know what made them fold

They went dormant in 2017 and the dissolution was voluntary so it sounds more like petering out than cataclysmic disaster.

One of my many boxes of stuff has a variety of those modules in it. I'm sure I had plans for them once.....
