Default Hacker Black Knight restoration.

Hi everyone,

I have just finished a light restoration on my Black Knight, mostly cleaning and undoing some dodgy DIY power supply wiring. It now looks great with the exception of the top face.

This Hacker has a black band applied to the aluminium top to identify the uses of the knobs. As usual it is worn through at the on/off control and ruins the look of the radio. I would normally mask and spray but this band appears to be a vinyl stick-on job with small unprinted areas for the + and - signs.

Does anyone know if anyone sells these, or more likely of some software and vinyl stick-on material to reproduce at home?

Any ideas?

It was originally screen-printed. Mask and spray is the usual fix, and losing the +/- signs is just bad luck. Any attempt to mask these is likely to be noticeable in the final result, sadly.
