Default AVO Minor Type E & universal help needed please

Hi!,
I’m Andy (2e0bay) and came across your forum while looking for information on the AVO Minor Type E meter. After picking up a R107 last year my interest in valve equipment has been rekindled and with the help of Geoff (G3YVF) I’m being introduced to the internal workings, diagnostics and repair of these old boat anchors….

I picked up a couple of avo’s at rallies and so far they all require some work, the latest is a small AVO Minor type 3 (air ministry issue) but it has “issues” lol
I’m looking for any and all info on these little test sets as I would love to get it up and running to help working with these older radios. Geoff has is also awaiting what I believe to be a AVO minor universal model and after reading through these pages we both think we will also need the circuit and info for this meter too

Well done for a really informative site, I’m looking forward to referring back as I start working with the older radios 
