Arrow Unusual KB set, should I buy it?

Good evening!
Somebody offered me this strange styled KB set.
It seems that this set is a dual standard set, channels
are selected by push buttons!?
Anybody here who can tell me more about this set?

There are 2 inner knobs missing I think.

Many thanks!

I remember this as model RV80. The fine tune is accessible by removing the panel above
the buttons. This is a 405 only set about 1962.

Is it a relation of the set in this thread?

One of the last 405 only TV sets. Quite rare and very desirable. Go for it.

I agree about these KB sets - it is a variant of the RV30.
It reminds me a bit of the HMV 1910 with that p/b tuner

I was offered one not long ago, and didn't buy it, despite having a liking for KB gear, (My 'everyday' set is a Majestic).

It's a style upgrade too far for my liking. It looks like they forgot to make provision for the knobs, and stuck a car radio through the front at the last minute.

They didn't even get it central!

@ Brigham

This was one of the reason to buy it, but no dual standard, a distance of about 1220 kms east of me and the missing legs and knobs are making the asking price out of my interest.

Best regards,

It is certainly rare being the first 23" receiver manufactured by KB. The chassis is almost identical to the 17" version I brought back to life that Tas mentions in 3.
