Tektronix paper about sampling
I found this reference on the Tek scope forum. It's a classic paper on sampling techniques by Jim Williams:
http://www2.tek.com/cmswpt/tidetails...ci=14824&lc=EN Some notes about how it was cleaned up for web publication: http://www.edn.com/blog/1700000170/p....html?nid=3082 Very few people have put this amount of time and effort into cleaning up scans for publication. |

Re: Tektronix paper about sampling
Anything by Jim Williams is worth reading. Thanks for this one Jeffrey! And I've left a grateful comment on the EDN site for the work to tidy up...

Absolutely. One of the greats who could also write well. Along with Barrie Gilbert and Bob Pease.
I don't know who wrote the superb 1968 Teledyne/Philbrick applications manual for opamps but I don't think it was any of these 3. I suppose it might have been George Philbrick himself. |

Hi Jeffery, the Philbrick apps manual was a classic, do you have a copy as sadly mine was borrowed and not returned?
It may even be worth putting on our site. Ed |

I have my very own copy. Given to me by the chemistry lab tech while I was still at school.
