Thanks Adi
Thanks Adi for the baking tray chassis idea, brilliant. I only managed to find one with a Teflon coating in the right size but It appears to do the job on my latest time waster (project)!! Still in the developement stage stage but hopefully in the next few days I will get it sorted. It's called "D&G" and it's not Dolce & Gabbana. Will post some details when it's finished.

Re: Thanks Adi
Great! I'm glad that somethign usefull has come out of me being here!
Whats that valve BTW? Looks very nice. The whole project looks good too. I prefer to use aluminium baking trays, but for some reason all wilkos trays are now sheet steel . Its still not too bad to work with tho. |

Re: Thanks Adi
Hi Adi,
The Valve is an 813 - Big thing - needs lots of volts to get it to work properly! If you could get a decent output transformer that really would make a good amplifier..... Would cost a fortune to buy one though! Cheers Sean

Re: Thanks Adi
The evidence for that was tenuous at best. The trays are probably now steel becuase they can get them cheaper. If they are steel you can make them thinner than ali.

Re: Thanks Adi
Steel is better if you need to solder earths on to, especially RF stuff with screens harvested from bean cans!
