Vintage Computer Festival, June 19 & 20th
Hello, I hope this is the appropriate message board for this - if not, then please move or delete. I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else on the site.
For anyone who doesn't know already, the National Museum of Computing at Bletchley Park is hosting the UK's first Vintage Computer Festival this weekend, June 19th and 20th. It looks like being quite a good do. Information is at http://www.tnmoc.org/36/section.aspx/140 Dave. |

Hi Dave,
I hope to be going up there on saturday. It's been a while since i've been to Bletchley Park, so i'm quite looking forward to it. Maybe i'll bump into some folk from the forum there (?) . Alan . |

I made it to the VCF yesterday, Saturday . It's a great event, with much to see and do - if anyone can get there today, it's definitely worth the trip !

Re: Vintage Computer Festival, June 19 & 20th
I spent a few hours at the Vintage Computer Festival this afternoon, it was my first visit to Bletchley Park. The presentations on the Colosuss, Elliott 803 and ICL 2966 were fascinating.
The smell of warm, old electronics and oil made it feel like home or at least like my workshop / spare room. I'll definitely be returning soon. John |
