Default French loudspeaker - Cabarre?

Another interesting job lot from my local auction included this 8" French driver - name appears to be 'Cabarre' but the lettering is all a bit '50s Hot Club de Paris' and not easy to make out. Does anyone know anything about these?

I think it is Cabasse, who are still in the loudspeaker game.

Thank you Mark - so it is. The attempts to translate the florid French into English are worth a look!

There are are some nice pearls of wisdom in there

Not quite "Oceanic Surcouf" but nevertheless very Gallic.

And some traditional boxes, too.
